Here at O'Brien Equestrian we strive to curate the best possible training option for both horse and rider using an assortment of techniques and training tools.

We focus on Event riding in our lesson program but offer flexible coaching to meet our students goals. From dressage to to show jumping we have you covered.

Meet our Coaches

We run lessons for all ages and abilities!

Analise O'Brien

Analise was born with the passion to ride, with over 15 years experience in the industry, starting with her

first Horse Skylar, and bombing around at Unicorn Stables, to moving to a working student position with Nikki Ayers,

where she acquired her second horse Buttons, and somewhere in there, she found the lovely Ollie. Analise has experience riding with Hawley Bennett, who was born

and raised right here in Aldergrove, and is now a world-renowned Olympic Eventer based out of California. She also

lessoned with Erik Duvander, who is the Olympic Team Coach for the US Event Team. I am sure you have all noticed

how amazing Analise is on and off your horses back, her extensive horsemanship skills come from Dustin Drader,

who runs El Centro Equine. Eventually it was time to spread her wings, and fly, and she ventured off on her own,

starting her journey at Foote Note Stables as their head coach. While at Foote Note, Analise focused on her riding,

going to bigger shows, taking lessons with different instructors, and making a name for herself. Fast forward to today,

and Analise is now our fearless leader, who has her full Pony Club HA and is an Equine Canada Certified Competition

Coach.

Liv has come to us with the most fortunate circumstances! Don't be fooled by her soft eye, she's got a lovely engine,

THEO

Theo is a 12 year old Akal Teke x Thoroughbred cross. He loves to go fast and he loves to jump!

Available for lesson and leasing!

BUTTONS

Our lovely OTTB representative! Buttons is newer to our program, but her and Analise go WAY back. Buttons is available for lessons and monthly lease opportunities.

LEO

Leo is our most beloved lesson horse. He is a paint/welsh cross with lots of miles in advanced dressage and hunter jumpers. He might be tiny but he is mighty! A barn favourite!

Savvy

Savvy is one of our more athletic ponies! She is available for lessons and lease! If you like something with a bit more zip, Savvy is your ride!

ARIZONA

Our Smooth Operator! Arizona is a Morgan with a lot to teach. With her smooth like butter gaits, you can work on yourself with out having to manage your pace.
